West Heath


Selkent 17217 on route 99 crosses the heath on Bostal Hill. The 99 is one of the longer standing routes, started in 1916 between Erith and Woolwich. It still runs the same route today, having only a few short lived changes over the years.

London Central LDP111 on route B11, seen in Lodge Hill. The wall on the left is for Plumstead Cemetery, and is the boundary between Bexley and Greenwich. Between 1899 and 1965 the boundary between Kent and London.

Selkent 17852 on on route 99 seen in Bostal Hill. West Heath is an area where the boroughs of Bexley and Greenwich meet, and the areas known as, Belvedere, Abbey Wood, Welling and Bexlyheath. Most of the heath has now been built over leaving just a few open spaces.
