| Seen on the way up is Diesel
locomotive No 10 Yeti. The locomotive is always on the down side of the
slope to prevent a breakaway by the carriage. If the locomotive was to
fail the carriage, which is not coupled to the locomotve has a break of
its own which can be used by the guard.. 15 June 2008. |
