HR2 tram 1858 on route 38 and trolleybus 1521 on route 698. These two routes shared the road between Woolwich and Abbey Wood from 1935 to 1952. Abbey Wood was only served by electric traction until the trams were replaced by bus. Here the view is of Woodside at the museum. The trolleybus will turn by reversing and the tram carries on through the woodland to Hedley Grove.
