A 241 passes under the railway bridge at Welling Station. RF241 is recreating an event over 50 years ago. It was not this bridge, but the one at Sidcup which necessitated RF workings.

RF489 is on route 228 at Footscray, in 1953 it would have been leaving Sidcup Garage as a new bus. The 228 was Eltham to Chislehurst via Sidcup. The reason for RFs working both the 241 and 228 was the low bridge at Sidcup station. The road under the bridge was lowered in 1958 when the routes were double decked.

RF 429 seen in Penge with Crystal Palace TV mast in the distance. Single deck operation of the 227 was because of a low bridge at Shortlands which is still there. The 227 lost their RFs on 1 January 1971.
