London's Transport Museum RT 4712 outside Stockwell Garage on the third
of the special Golden Jubilee Tours in this vintage bus. Painted in gold
livery it was used in the Jubilee parade, as well as the three special
tours. The summer will be spent working a few days per week in passenger
carrying service on several central London routes.

At Farningham RT 4712 stands where many years before Central area route
21, 21a terminated along with Country route 479. Country bus 401 from Belvedere
to Sevenoaks also passed by along with Greenline coach 703.

Another picture at Farningham, in the background the Pied Bull public
house, at one time only the Bull. Farningham's narrow high street has been
by-passed by the A20 Folkestone Road, which has in recent years also been
by-passed by the M20.
This tour was a great success with those who took part. Thanks to all
those responsible for the organisation of the tour.
