96 Tram Ticket (LPTB)

London Passenger Transport Board 
Tramway ticket. Service 96. Horns Cross - Woolwich. 
This was originally a Bexley Council Tramway service. After being acquired by London Transport this route was numbered 96 from 3 October 1934. On 10 November 1935  the trams were replaced by 696 trollybus. Woolwich - Dartford. In 1959 these too were replaced, by diesel buses, this service was numbered 96  Woolwich - Dartford.. In 1999 this bus was extended to the new Bluewater shopping complex, which is very close to the Horns Cross of the original 96 tram terminus.

96 bus ticket of the Gibson ticket machine type.On these ticket the stage boarded rather than the stage entitled to travel was shown.This ticket is prepared for decimal usage, no (D) on price, and were used from 1970 onwards.
