Charlton

A queue of traffic in Woolwich Road, Charlton a misty morning in August 1968. On the right is Stones Sports Ground. This ground flooded one time which turned it into a lake. The site is now know as Stone Lake Retail Park. Woolwich Road is now four lanes wide at this point, with several roundabouts.
